Peter Lindroth is a most distinguished composer living here in Sweden, very versatile and possesses remarkable technical skills with works
in different instrument settings.
The first pieces is like a dialogue between violins. Again it is fascinating to say the least to be in the middle in the stereo room.
A most intruiging start. Well worth having as ballet.
The second work on this CD is sad and lamenting, based on Karl Wolfskehls poem from 1934. Enjoy the most impressive
articulation from Christina Högman.
Rite now, is a completely different kind of piece. It is truly remarkable work sounding as it comes from immemorial times, with its persistant
percussion, while the next piece is more soothing, with the phenomenal Stockholm Saxophone Quartet.
The last track is called Night Music, slightly expectant in feeling.
A most variable modern modern CD! Well worth investigating.
